CIVIC3The Bestiary
The god-sheet's companion: who you face, not what you wield. Every entity in the universe — built or not, for years out — as archetype families (rows) escalating across fractal tiers (columns). The cop at the block and the secret-service agent at the federal tier are the same archetype, different tier. Open and tunable. Knowing they're coming is half the power.

Why archetype × tier instead of a flat list: the same archetype escalates as you climb the fractal — the Armed Enforcer is a beat cop at the block and a Secret Service agent at the federal tier. One row, six renderings. This is the bestiary every game hides; shipping it open means a player knows what's coming three tiers up, and a contributor knows exactly where a new entity slots. The encounter engines for these can be refined for years — but the knowledge that they exist and roughly how strong they are is the design spine right now. Same archetype, harder tier · the cop becomes the agent becomes the apparatus. This is a public read-only record. Changes only happen through the project's own build process, never through this page. Think a number here is wrong or unfair? Request the reasoning or challenge it — FOIA-style, no obfuscation.
